I have trouble getting out of bed and I think this idea is incredible, but Ive had some problems using this app to replace the Apple built-in alarm clock.
- The first time I used this app to wake me up, it never went off. I think its because I set the alarm, and then exited out of the app. I believe you can push the lock button, but you must stay in the app. I think?
- Setting the alarm is also somewhat confusing. To set it you tap On, but then it displays a big Off and I feel unsure whether the app is actually set, or presently off.
- If you have a passcode set, once the alarm goes off, you have to open it with your password. A simple swipe seems to disable the ringing, making it no more useful than a snooze button.
- The spinning with your thumbs part works perfectly, no complaints there.
I really want this app to work well, and use it as my primary alarm in the mornings, but I think it needs to be better worked out from a UI standpoint, and fixed in terms of is usability.
Its half way there, but still an excellent idea.
